Dr hab. Andrzej Szeptycki
Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
Political scientist, university professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, and an expert at the Institute of Strategy 2050.
His research interests focus on the domestic and foreign policies of Ukraine, the foreign policy of Poland, the situation in the post-Soviet area, as well as postcolonial studies and memory politics.
He has lectured in France, Ukraine, and China. His latest publication is “Contemporary Polish-Ukrainian Relations” (Scholar 2023). Currently, he is the head of the research project “Russia’s Wars: Causes, Conditions, Course, and Consequences of Russian Federation Military Actions in the Post-Cold War Period,” funded by the National Science Centre.
Prof. Szeptycki is responsible for international cooperation at the Ministry.
