A year ago, I wouldn’t have imagined that I would fulfill one of my dreams – working and learning from experts in the field of bioinformatics in the USA.

Currently, I am a second-year master’s student in Chemistry with a specialization in Digital Chemistry at the University of GdaÅ„sk. At the same time, I am participating in the BioLAB program at the University of Virginia, where I am honing my skills in the analysis of epigenetic data focused on ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

During my internship, I have the opportunity to join many projects. They are not limited only to data analysis but also include the creation of software tools available for everyone, which gives me immense satisfaction.

Immersing myself in a different scientific “world” has opened my eyes to new perspectives, skills, and career paths, broadening my horizons. It’s an incredibly valuable and adventurous experience that I highly recommend to everyone!
