Graduation ceremony: U.S. Fulbright grantees 2022

On June 10, 2022 we bid farewell to our cohort of over thirty U.S. Fulbright grantees during a graduation ceremony, which took place in Warsaw in the residence of the U.S. Ambassador Mark Brzezinski. This event was organized jointly by the Fulbright Commission and the US Embassy, Warsaw. Apart from their research and/or teaching successes, we would like to congratulate them on their perseverance and we are grateful for their flexibility, support and involvement in many projects. When they started their grants, restrictions related to the pandemic were ubiquitous. And when Russia started the war in Ukraine, many of them immediately became involved in various types of support for Ukrainian refugees. Their actions have repeatedly reflected the mission of the Fulbright Program: promoting international understanding and initiatives focused on peace-building, the development of science, culture, as well as interpersonal and inter-institutional relations. We are proud!
