On behalf of the organizers, we cordially invite you to participate in the XXIII Scientific Conference on Controlled Polymerization, which will take place on June 3, 2024. Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, a world-class specialist in chemistry, will present a series of lectures covering the following topics:
- Fundamentals of Controlled Radical Polymerization
- Dual Catalysis in ATRP
- Linking Synthetic Polymers to Biomolecules and to Inorganic Substrates
- Overview of Research Projects at the Center for Macromolecular Engineering at Carnegie Mellon
In addition to the inspiring lectures by Professor Matyjaszewski, a poster session is also planned. We encourage you to submit abstracts and participate in brief presentations showcasing your scientific achievements and research. Authors of selected abstracts will be asked to prepare 3 to 5-minute presentations detailing their research. This event provides an excellent opportunity to exchange scientific experiences and learn about the latest trends in polymer chemistry.
Additionally, the conference will feature opportunities to explore career development, internships, and PhD programs in the United States. Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations!
The conference is organized by the Center for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Łódź, together with the BioMedChem Doctoral School of the University of Łódź and PAN Institutes in Łódź.
