On November 24 we organized a Thanksgiving dinner for our American grantees and alumni, as well as the program’s supporters and friends. Similar to the previous years, this event was held at Stary Dom restaurant in Warsaw and we were thrilled to host around 100 people.
Our current American grantees arrived for this occasion from various places in Poland where they are stationed for the duration of their grants. The evening was filled with joy, conversations and some traditional Thanksgiving food infused with Polish influences. It was the first event since the U.S. grantees Orientation week (the last week of September) that we were able to meet together again and hear more about their first experiences of living in Poland.
