Prof. Beata Obsulewicz-Niewińska joins the Board of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission

We are pleased to announce that on April 7, 2022 the Minister of Education and Science nominated prof. dr hab. Beata Obsulewicz-Niewińska to the Board of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission.

Prof. Obsulewicz-Niewińska is a Polish philologist, historian of literature, culture studies and an experienced teacher. She specializes in the literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the works of Bolesław Prus (director of the grant: Editing of All Scriptures by B. Prus) and other writers at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Prof. Obsulewicz-Niewińska works at the Catholic University of Lublin, where she heads the Department of Literature of Positivism and Young Poland. Author of 3 books and many articles on Polish literature and culture, including intercultural relations. Juror of the Olympiad of Polish Literature and Language (Lublin), including OLiJP abroad.

We would also like to thank prof. Eliza Przeździecka, who ended her service in the Board, for three extremely intense years of cooperation and for fulfilling her role as a Board Member with the utmost commitment.
