We invite scientists, academic representatives, members of the Polish scientific diaspora, and anyone interested in multifaceted collaboration with Polish academic institutions to participate in the event “Polish-American Scientific & Academic Cooperation: Meetup Chicago 2025,” taking place on February 24, 2025.
The event is organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), Northeastern Illinois University, and the Chicago chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation. It is held under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., and the Consulate General of Poland in Chicago, with support from the Polish Cultural Institute in New York and Fulbright Poland. The main theme will be the dynamic academic collaboration between Poland and the United States. The event is designed for researchers seeking new projects and all those interested in strengthening academic ties between the two nations.
The program will begin with a panel discussion featuring alumni of international exchange programs, who will share their experiences and highlight the tangible impacts and benefits of academic exchanges. The second session will focus on a dialogue with representatives of Polish and American academic institutions, who will discuss various international exchange programs and strategic partnerships fostering educational and scientific collaboration.
The event will also provide an opportunity to explore the extensive offerings and collaborative possibilities available through Polish universities and NAWA. A dedicated networking session will enable participants to delve deeper into topics of interest and establish meaningful connections.
