Who I am:

I am a student of Molecular Biotechnology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. As a part of my Master’s thesis, I started research focusing on understanding the anti-fibrotic properties of chalcones in an asthma model. I am fascinated by the intricate workings of our molecular machinery and am driven by a desire to discover new ways to deal with human diseases.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy spending my leisure time reading books, meeting friends, and going for strolls.

My BioLAB work in the lab focuses on:

I will be assigned to a project under the supervision of Dr. Ira Schulman. My work will focus on defining the role of myeloid cells in the development of MASH (Metabolic Disfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis).

I decided to apply for a BioLAB program because:

I decided to apply for the BioLAB Program because it presents an excellent opportunity to enhance my knowledge in the field of science and acquire new skills in cutting-edge techniques. At the same time, the BioLAB Program provides an opportunity for me to learn more about American culture, make new friends and expand my horizons.

After completing my BioLAB Program I would like to:

After completing the BioLAB Program, I aim to continue my scientific career and further develop my knowledge. Additionally, I intend to pursue doctoral studies.
