Who I am:
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in biotechnology at Jagiellonian University, following a bachelor’s degree in plant biotechnology. During my studies in plant biotechnology and now working with extremophilic archaea, I’ve gained hands-on experience in protein purification and genetic engineering, including plasmid design.
I am captivated by the elegant complexity and precise organization of cellular systems, and fascinated by how molecular tools allow us to explore and reshape these pathways.
What drives me is biotechnology’s vast potential to address some of the most urgent global issues – whether through combating climate change or addressing antibiotic resistance.
Beyond the lab, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and theater – activities that help me stay balanced and creative.
My BioLAB work in the lab focuses on:
For my internship, I will join Professor Arun Radhakrishnan’s team, whose research focuses on how membrane cholesterol regulates diverse cellular signaling pathways to maintain lipid homeostasis, support cell growth, and defend against infections
I decided to apply for a BioLAB program because:
I view the BioLAB program as a unique opportunity to connect with intelligent and inspiring people, challenge myself academically and professionally, master new techniques, and broaden my horizons. Additionally, it offers the chance to experience and adapt to a different work culture, enriching both my personal and professional growth.
After completing my stay on BioLAB Program I would like to:
continue building a career that allows me to do research with real-world impact – whether in academia or the biotechnology industry.
