Dominika Rudzka
Who I am:
I am a student of biotechnology at the University of Wroclaw. I’m fascinated by this field and would like to be as universal as possible in it, so I try to gather diverse experiences and skills during my studies. My greatest love are heat shock proteins, the expression of which I am trying to modify in flax using antisense oligonucleotides. So far, I have had the opportunity to work on fungi, bacteria, plants and cell cultures. I went to France for an internship, and now to the States!
My BioLAB work in the lab focuses on:
The project aims to discover guest-host interaction mechanisms of microbiome regulation by host tRNA-methabolite interactions.
I decided to apply for a BioLAB program because:
In the lab I hope to learn new methods and meet inspiring people. Besides, going so far away for a year is a big challenge and will definitely teach me a lot.
After completing my BioLAB Program I would like to:
Find a job that will have a real impact on people’s lives.
