Who I am:
I am a curious young girl who loves life, people and nature. My dream is to contribute to the development of novel therapeutics that will help people suffering from currently incurable diseases. For that reason, I am studying Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. I have a lot of enthusiasm, open mind and hands ready to work. Outside the lab, you can find me gardening or embarking on adventures into the unknown. I strongly believe that taking care of the environment is not just a choice but our responsibility, as the Earth is all we have.
My BioLAB work in the lab focuses on:
During the BioLAB program, I will be working on a project conducted by Prof. Kunle Odunsi at the University of Chicago. I will be involved in the research focusing on overcoming the problems associated with the limited efficacy of CAR-T therapy in solid tumors. I will learn how to manufacture therapeutic T-cells through genetic engineering.
I decided to apply for a BioLAB program because:
I decided to apply for the BioLAB program because it offers young scientist a unique opportunity for career development. It provides the chance to gain valuable work experience in the international scientific environment of excellent research centers in the United States. While working on my project I will expand my knowledge and learn a variety of cutting-edge techniques under the supervision of outstanding scientists.
After completing my BioLAB Program I would like to:
After completing my BioLAB program I would like to continue my scientific path in medical biotechnology by pursuing a PhD. My ultimate aspiration is to become an expert, working together with a group of ambitious scientists to push the boundaries of medicine.
