Who I am:
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. My thesis research explores the anti-apoptotic properties of extracellular vesicles released by mesenchymal stem cells. Throughout my studies, I have developed a broad range of scientific interests, spanning from bioinformatics and programming to cell communication, both intra- and extracellular.

Apart from studies I’m interested in cooking, dancing and video games. I also enjoy spending time in the fresh air, hiking in the warmer months and skiing in winter.

My BioLAB work in the lab focuses on:
I am joining the research team of Professor Brian Gene Coon at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. The project aim is to understand how genetic mutations affect endothelial cell responses to blood flow and contribute to abnormal vascular remodeling, including tumor-like overgrowth.

I decided to apply for a BioLAB program because:
The BioLAB program offers young scientists hands-on research experience, collaboration with experts, and opportunities to work on innovative projects while building professional connections. It also includes participation in conferences, social events, and exploration of U.S. landmarks, fostering both professional and personal growth. For me, this program represents a dream opportunity to develop skills in Medical Biotechnology, expand my scientific network, and shape my future career in research and innovation.

After completing my stay on BioLAB Program I would like to:
I don’t know exactly what the future holds for me, but one thing is certain — I will continue doing what I love: science.
