Ewa Czarnojan Appointed New Executive Director of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission

We are pleased to announce that, as of November 25, 2024, the Board of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission has appointed Ewa Czarnojan as the Executive Director of our Commission.

Ewa Czarnojan brings extensive experience in the education sector to our organization. She holds a degree in English Philology and has served as an English lecturer at the Maritime University of Szczecin and the Department of English Studies at the University of Szczecin. Additionally, she has been a long-standing examiner for Cambridge English Exams. She has also had a significant career in the publishing industry, working with Oxford University Press, where she held the position of General Manager for Poland and oversaw operations in Hungary. As an Education Manager, she successfully coordinated educational projects funded by the European Union.

We believe that her extensive professional experience, understanding of international education, and her commitment to advancing academic cooperation will significantly contribute to fulfilling our mission: building intercultural bridges and creating a space for dialogue and collaboration between Poland and the United States.

The Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission is a public benefit organization operating under a bilateral agreement between the governments of Poland and the United States, and supporting academic and cultural exchange between these two countries. The Commission administers the Fulbright Program in Poland and offers support to individuals and institutions interested in collaborating to advance research and culture with institutions in the U.S. The Fulbright Commission is a catalyst for talent, harnessing human potential. It builds lasting connections, advances knowledge and supports communities through educational exchange.
