Meet the participants of the 2024-25 BioLAB Program, a one-year internship for graduate students in the biological, chemical, and medical fields. During this internship, students engage in cutting-edge research projects guided by experienced researchers at one at one of four selected American institutions: the University of Virginia, the University of Chicago, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
In addition to gaining hands-on research experience in areas such as neurology, crystallography, virology, and molecular genetics, BioLAB interns actively participate in the life of their host institution in the United States. They attend seminars, guest lectures, and immerse themselves in American culture.

For this year’s competition we received 75 applications. Recruitment consisted of two stages: formal and substantive evaluation of the electronic application form, and interviews with the selection committee. This year’s interviews were conducted in-person in Warsaw and Kraków.
