Junior Research Award 2026-27
The Fulbright Junior Research Award 2026-27 allows Polish doctoral candidates to conduct a research project (4-10 months) in the U.S., in a field related to their doctoral dissertation. Applications are welcome from all fields of study, except projects requiring direct patient contact.

Fulbright Research Award at Stanford University School of Medicine 2026-27
The Fulbright Research Award at Stanford University School of Medicine 2026-27 allows Polish citizens pursuing a doctoral degree in Poland in fields such as cellular, molecular, or structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related areas (excluding projects requiring direct patient contact) to conduct an 8- to 10-month research project at the Rogala Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine, aligned with their dissertation research.

Graduate Student Award 2026-27
The Fulbright Graduate Student Award 2026-27 supports Polish citizens with a master’s degree who wish to pursue graduate studies in the U.S. The scholarship provides up to $47,000 for the first year of study, with the possibility of extension for a second year. Applications are accepted in all fields except medical studies requiring direct patient contact, LLM (Master of Laws), and MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs.

Graduate Student Award: LLM in International Human Rights Law at University of Notre Dame 2026-27
As part of the Graduate Student Award for 2026–27, Polish citizens with a master’s degree in law can apply for the one-year graduate program, LL.M. in International Human Rights Law, at the University of Notre Dame. The eligibility criteria and selection process are the same as those for the Graduate Student Award.

Senior Award 2026-27
The Fulbright Senior Award for 2026–27 offers Polish scholars employed at Polish academic and research institutions the opportunity to conduct independent research or research-and-teaching projects (lasting 3 to 10 months) in the U.S. This program is open to researchers and faculty members at any career stage after earning a doctoral degree and welcomes applicants from all fields of study, except for projects requiring direct patient contact.

STEM Impact Award 2025-26
The Fulbright STEM Impact Award for 2025–26 is a short-term grant (2 to 6 weeks) for STEM researchers who hold at least a Ph.D. degree, are employed at higher education or research institutions in Poland, manage research projects, and supervise other researchers. The award supports research, teaching, or research-and-teaching projects in the U.S., along with training in science commercialization or grant writing.
